So, for no good reason I decided to torture myself and join National Blog Posting Month '07. This in addition to my Franciscan myspace page, Facebook, and good ol' reliable Blogger here.
NaBloPoMo--okay, that sounds like something kinky, doesn't it?--is about blogging every day in the month of November. Now, y'all know I'm not good about... I don't even have to say it. But I'm gonna give this a shot anyway, even though I'm smack dab in the middle of writing a novel, and rewriting another one because my editor only liked the first and last chapters. Way to bookend, Mair!
Could somebody kill me, please?
It's 11:24 pm, and I'm just getting started with the new entry here, so you can see how well the idea of doing this bodes with me, and this is just the first day. Sigh. Rachelle Gardner, without even knowing it, got me into this mess. I'm gonna have to stop hanging around writers and bloggers. They're a compulsive lot, those literary types. Especially that Rachelle woman.
Ha! Love ya, girl. And she's so cute, that Rachelle.
I want to caution you not to head over to NaBloPoMo looking for new content. I'm pretty much gonna put everything here this month over there. So, pray for me in this endeavor, or... pray for me for something that's actually important.
Join me if you wanna.
Do you dare?
Pax et Bonum!

Mair, how exciting that you're joining NaBloPoMo! I'm glad I'm not the only crazy one, and I look forward to reading your thoughts. I'll tell you one thing, typing N-a-B-l-o-P-o-M-o over and over gets old FAST.
Love ya, girl. Happy November.
Well, I'm not going to officially sign up as I don't need one more thing to add to the stress of "I've got so much to do and I'm not doing any of it well"!!!!
That said, its day 2 of November and so far I've blogged both days. I usually DO blog every day, I just don't need the extra pressure. Know what I mean?
THAT SAID (again), I am SO glad that YOU have signed up for this pressure because I love your writings and ramblings and get a little happy jump-up in my spirit when I see you've posted new stuff.
See you SOON!!!!!!!!!!!!;D
Kisses,
Thandeka Elysa
P.S. If you get a chance, when you're not typing like a mad woman, head over to my blog and see what God has been doing to bless our African trip! I am so RIGHTEOUSLY PSYCHED!
Have fun! I decided to declare November as National Children's Book Writing Month, or NaChiBoWriMo! I should be working on my kids' book instead of looking at Google Reader right now.
GO GET WRITING, SHAUNA!!!!!!!
And I should be making jewelry instead of visting y'all's blogs...but y'all are just so darn GOOD!
I don't think I could think of something new to say every day. Especially given my recent decision to get off my sound doctrine soapbox for a while. (Now watch -- one of the Kansas City Prophets will come out with a new book, screaming for me to review it.)
Maybe I'm the one who needs to join a monastery!
Seriously, what can you write about every day? Let's think here.....maybe spend really long periods with God, and see if He quickens something from the Word to you? Talk about what the kids learned in school that day? Novel new types of Halloween candy? (Those new Reeses's peanut butter cups with the layer of caramel between the chocolate and the peanut butter are tremendous!) I could write a whole blog entry on that.
Hey lovies! Good to hear from y'all.
Alright, Shauna! Don't come over here tryna start no stuff. I can't write a novel, rewrite another AND do a children's book.
I just ain't got it like that. But you go girl!
I have no idea what I'll right about every day Marie. I suspect I'll ramble endless and you'll all lose respect for me.
But I loves y'all. I truly do.
